Visions of Beauty Photography

The office of Visions of Beauty Photography is located in the same bulding as CTS Financial Services on Route 101-A in Amherst, NH. The building is situated in-between the Roast Beef place and Triangle Credit Union.

We are always reachable via email and phone, although meeting in person is preferable prior to conducting a session. We would like to provide the opportunity for clients to talk about what they are looking for, and to see what types of products we offer. This is also for the safety of our customers and ourselves; we want both parties to feel comfortable with each other before we travel to people's homes.

Since we are an "on location" photography business, there are obvious safety precautions we must take.

Spring through Mid-Fall: 

Our office is open for business by appointment, and we are reachable by phone or email at any time. Please call our office phone, and leave a message if there is no answer. We will return your call as soon as possible.

Please ALWAYS call ahead before stopping by the office. Since we are a mobile business, we may not always be in the office during a certain time.

End of Fall through Winter:

These hours are TO BE ANNOUNCED. Due to shortening daylight hours and inclement weather, we are unable to determine this at this time.

A standard session fee of $100 within 100 miles will apply! That means that if you live within 100 miles of Amherst, NH... OR Manchester, NH... your standard session fee is just $100!!! (Pricing may vary slightly with discount and coupon offers.)

Keep in mind that our sessions are not timed sessions!

Refer A Friend- Upon the conclusion of your friend's session, you will receive a coupon for $50 of FREE products! This may be used on more products from your previous session, or for your next session. You choose!

A minimum product purchase of $50 is applied to all sessions.

At the conclusion of the session, Visions of Beauty Photography requires payment of half of the total product purchase and session fees in order to begin processing your products. The other half of the total is required upon delivery of your products.

We accept cash or checks as forms of payment.

A standard session is considered one visit, during which any number of pets are photographed. We require at least 1-2 hrs. shooting time per session.

Our sessions are not timed sessions. We realize that pets are by-nature more difficult to control and expect to "work with us". Therefore, we come to your pets in their environment, where they are relaxed, and patiently wait for them to accept the photographer around them. From there, the photographer will shoot a good amount of photos in the best backgrounds at your location.

Once the photographer feels there are some good shots, they will take a break to show you what they have through enlarged digital media. At this time, you and the photographer will decide if you have gotten all the pictures that you are looking for. If not, the photographer will shoot one more brief photo session to try to capture your desired moments. Throughout the reviews until the end of the "session", the photographer will work with you to make the decisions for product ordering. Once the order has been filled out, and half of the total payment is received, the appointment will conclude.

Products will be processed for development as soon as possible following the conclusion of the session and receipt of the first payment. Once your order has been placed, the photographer will contact you with the expected delivery date.

Processing and developing time will depend on the type of product you have purchased, and whether it can be processed in-house, or has to be sent out for creation.

We understand that most people have many beloved animal companions, and that each one holds a special place in their owner's heart. We also feel that each one of them is important, and will do our best to take at least one good shot of each pet you would like to have photographed. If we are unable to do this the first visit due to issues with pet cooperation, we offer to return another day for an additional charge of $25.

As long as the pets are willing, and the owners are willing to help keep their attention, we are able to do group shots. It is really up to your pets whether or not this is possible.

P.S. Treats may be required for this!

As mentioned in our "Services" page, we specialize in working with dogs and cats, but we are able to provide services for many other species of animals. We have found that working with animals from a perspective of respect and patience allows us to connect with them on their level; thus most animals are able to be photographed. Whether you have a Horse, Parrot, Iguana, Ferret, or a Pot-Bellied Pig... we are sure to provide you with beautiful photographs that you can treasure forever!

Horse owners please ask about early morning portraits to incorporate the sunrise and fog of the day's beginning!

YES!!! 

We know how much you love your pets... because we also love ours. Nothing warms a heart more than a beautiful and expressive picture of you and your animal companion! If parents get pictures with their children, why shouldn't animals get the same treatment?! Just make sure you have your makeup on, because all of our photos capture the true, raw beauty... which means very little editing!

During the holidays: 

Understandably, there will be more owner/pet photography during holiday season appointments. However, we still encourage a good deal of pet focused photography during this time.

Also, just as would be normally, all holiday photographs would aim to have the least amount of obvious posing as possible. If they are wearing a little yarmulke, santa hat, or scottish kilt... I can guarantee they didn't put them on by themselves. However, our aim is to entertain the audience by making it look like it was the pet's idea!

We love to see your pet's TRUE personality!

Additionally, the photos of your pet do not require holiday themed props for them to be used for holiday products. ...They do look cute that way though!

We offer over 200 different choices of products that  your photographs can be displayed upon or made into!

YES! We do have a catalog! Unfortunately, we do not have it available for viewing online. Rest assure, there is definitely at least one item in our catalog for every possible owner's tastes and desires! We offer all of the mainstream favorites!

Please set up a time to meet with the photographer at no additional charge, or wait to see the catalog at your session appointment.

Currently, we charge $20 for Reiki with one pet.

Reiki is a form of healing that uses energy to reduce stress and help with pain management. Some pets are very open to it, reacting very positively by relaxing and allowing the energy to be around them. Other pets may be more sensitive to the focused energy, and may feel uncomfortable; which you can easily be seen as they will usually not sit still or choose to get up and walk away. Additionally, some pets may be uncomfortable with a new person using this energy on them, and may need their owners to be with them to feel safe.

If you scheduled a Reiki session, and your pet was not comfortable working through it, you will not be charged for the session.

It is common that Reiki practitioners will use healing stones while practicing, and may wear them on their person for calming. If your pet is sensitive to stones and their energy, please let the photographer know before your session.
